– This is a program where famous people compete to do most of the traditional Easter at the cottage, where those who perform the tasks poorly are killed in a morbid way. Unfortunately, explains presenter Markus Neby in a press release from NRK.

“Easter Crime Games” premieres on 23 March on NRK TV and NRK1.

In this year’s super crime at NRK, Jon Almaas has become the leader of a greener and more environmentally friendly NRK. “Supercrime” consists of 10 episodes and premieres on 23.03.

Easter Crime TV 2

“Agatha Christie: Murder is no business” (“Murder is easy” originally) is based on Agatha Christie’s crime novel of the same name, and was one of the most watched British drama series on the BBC last year.

The series follows the young and ambitious Luke Fitzwilliam, who arrives in England from Nigeria. On the train to London, he meets the elderly Miss Pinkerton, and learns that there is a murderer on the loose in the decent village of Wychwood-Under-Ashe. The locals think the village’s many deaths are accidents, but Miss Pinkerton suspects otherwise.

“Agatha Christie: Murder is no business” is broadcast linearly on TV 2 Thursday 28 – Friday 29 March at 21.40.

“The Marlow Murder Club” follows the retired archaeologist Judith Potts (Samantha Bond) who lives alone in the peaceful town of Marlow, where she fills her time doing crossword puzzles for the local newspaper. During one of her regular swims in the river, she hears a gunshot from her neighbour’s garden and immediately believes a brutal murder has taken place.

When the police don’t believe her theory, Potts starts her own murder investigation with dog sitter Suzie (Jo Martin) and vicar wife Becks (Cara Horgan). “The Marlow Murder Club” is based on the international bestseller by author Robert Thorogood, also known for the global success “Death in Paradise”.

“The Marlow Murder Club” premieres on 25 March on TV 2 Play.

“Dalgliesh” is a British crime drama series based on the Adam Dalgliesh novels by PD James. The series follows protagonist Dalgliesh (Bertie Carvel) and his colleagues Kate Miskin and DS Daniel Tarrant as they investigate various murder cases. “Hidden Assets” which was last year’s Easter crime on TV 2, is back with a new season available on TV 2 Play. The Irish investigator Emer Berry must work with the Belgian investigator Christian de Jong to get to the bottom of the connected cases.

“Hidden Assets” season 2 is out on TV 2 Play.

If you are ready to finish crime fiction at the end of Easter, you can from Easter Sunday, i.e. 31 March, have a reunion with “The bathing hotel” which returns with its tenth and final season.

Easter crime Viaplay

“Whistling” is back, and it is of course Sven Nordin who is in the role of investigator William Wisting this time as well. Season 4 is coming this year, two years after season 3 premiered.

In the new season, we are back in Larvik on a seemingly idyllic summer evening with the Greenwood family. But the following morning, a hotel employee is found murdered, and six-year-old Clifford Greenwood has disappeared without a trace.

Easter crime Apple TV+

“Manhunt” will be released on Apple TV+ in time for Easter, and is a mini-series that follows Edwin Stanton’s search for John Wilkes Booth in the aftermath of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. The story is based on James L. Swanson’s book “Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer”.

“Manhunt premieres March 15 on Apple TV+.

If you have a subscription to Apple TV+, we can also recommend the spy thriller series “Slow Horses”, where Gary Oldman excels in the role of the leader of a group of outcast MI5 agents. Here you get both conspiracies, Russian spies and bomb threats, in a series that is not afraid to surprise.

Easter Crime Netflix

“The Gentlemen” comes a little before Easter, but can quickly be something you want to stream just at Easter. This is not exactly an Easter crime story, but rather a crazy gangster series by Guy Richie. The new series has sprung from the 2020 film, and promises more of the same, with a different cast.

Theo James (“White Lotus”) plays the lead role as the aristocrat’s son who is suddenly drawn into a criminal world, and it is generally an impressive team of actors Richie has brought with him in “The Gentlemen”.

All episodes of “The Gentlemen” will premiere on March 7 on Netflix.

A series that is not an Easter crime, but which is nonetheless conveniently released just before Easter, is long awaited “3 Body Problem” on Netflix. This premieres on 21 March, and if Easter crime isn’t quite your thing, maybe this is the one you should “binge” at Easter.

Easter Crime HBO Max

HBO Max does not release any news that falls directly under the Easter crime category, but that does not mean that there is no good crime available on the streaming service. Haven’t you caught on? “True Detective: Night Country” with Jodie Foster, Easter is the perfect occasion. You can also still watch the previous three seasons if you want more.

“The White Lotus” is still a big favorite on HBO Max, you will find two seasons of it out. We can also recommend sparkling “Sherlock” of which you will find four seasons, in addition to the special episode “The Abominable Bride”.

If you want something other than crime, it was premiered on 3 March “The Regime”a new satire series starring Kate Winslet.

Easter crime Disney+

Even if Disney+ doesn’t release any Easter crime stories either, there is a lot that can fit into the category. Such as “A Murder At The End Of The World”the crime series from the end of 2023 that we gave dice roll 5 in Nettavisen.

IN “Death and Other Details” Imogene Scott finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time and becomes the prime suspect in a murder mystery committed behind closed doors on a luxury cruise ship.
