Last summer, the news came that actress Sophia Bush (41) and her husband Grant Hughes (42) were to divorce after one year of marriage.
Shortly after, she was linked to the female soccer star Ashlyn Harris (38), and rumors about whether they had become a couple began to seriously abound both in online newspapers and social media.
Confirms relationship after the divorce
This week, Bush finally confirmed to Glamor magazine what “everyone” has suspected, namely that she is in a relationship with Harris.
– When I came to myself I already felt at home. I think I’ve always known that my sexuality exists on a spectrum. Right now I think the best word to describe me is queer. I can’t actually say that without smiling. And it really feels amazing.

The duo, on the other hand, have kept their relationship tight-lipped, and they have not appeared in public together – until now. That’s what People writes.
On the occasion of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday, Bush and Harris appeared together on the red carpet, where they embraced each other and smiled at the photographers.

Bush and Harris met for the first time in 2019, and in the interview with Glamour, the former revealed that the two became closer after both simultaneously filed for divorce from their partners at the time.
Previously, Harris was married to soccer star Ali Krieger (39), but last autumn they divorced, after five years of marriage. Together they have children Sloane (3) and Ocean (20 months).
– Wants a girlfriend
Shortly after the divorce news, rumors swirled that Bush was a so-called “homewrecker”, which is a person who causes a break in a marriage. She later denied that.

The “One Tree Hill” star also shared that she hates having to “come out” in 2024, but pointed out the importance of having these conversations because of all the horrific attacks on the LGBTQ+ community in modern times.
