The daughter of the American TV profile Michael Strahan (52) received a discouraging message in October last year. 19-year-old Isabella Strahan then learned that she had a malignant tumor on her brain, and only a few weeks after she had started higher education.

She was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, which according to Store Norske Leksikon is one of the most common forms of brain tumor in children.

Cancer sufferer: – Felt a fear of death

Since she was diagnosed, Isabella has shared openly and honestly about her new everyday life and treatment on social media.

– Not going anywhere

One of the channels she is active on is TikTok, and recently she received a comment from a follower who asked: “Are you still alive?”.

She chose to answer it with a video where she dances to the song “Get It Sexxy” by Sexxy Red. The video’s description is: “Responding to an insane comment”.

Several of the 19-year-old’s followers seem to appreciate the video, and one has commented that she is “better than ever”, to which Isabella replied “I’m not going anywhere”.

– Very, very painful

Isabella is posting this video in the middle of her cancer treatment – she has undergone several rounds of chemotherapy, and recently revealed on YouTube that she was going through another craniotomy. It is a temporary opening of the skull during brain surgery, and should not be confused with craniectomy, writes Store Norske Leksikon.

– It broke me

– It’s not as bad as the first time, but I’m in pain. They give me pain killers… but they don’t work very well on me. So I am in great pain, she stated at the time and continued:

– I have a very, very bad headache right now. I’m not going to lie, I’ve cried a lot. I am in great pain. It’s not as bad as last time…and my face isn’t as swollen, but it literally hurts to do anything.
