This is what 18-year-old Finnja Charlotta Scnaidt says to several media, including the Bild newspaper.

The German 18-year-old has dreamed of working in the fire service all his life. That is why the joy was extra great when she recently became deputy chief at the fire station in Mecklenburg Seenplatte in Germany.
There she works with 22 other men – and is the only woman in the rooster flock.
On Instagram, she shares daily content for her 25,500 followers about her everyday life as a fire constable.
– I love my job, and I like to break stigmas, she writes on her profile.
But the medal also has a flip side, she assures Bild newspaper:
– I’m sick of slobbery men. It’s overflowing with them!

– Nasty inquiries
Finnja often receives comments about her appearance – both on work assignments and in social media.
“Do you have a fever, or are you just so hot,” writes a follower under one of her photos.
“You make me sweat, I’m about to explode. Can you come and turn me off,” writes another.
The 18-year-old says that she is “completely blown away” by the comments. Several men have also asked to pay her for services, she reveals.
– I often get nasty inquiries. It is tiresome. Why can’t people respect each other, she writes in a post.
Finnja also reveals that she takes care of the worst comments, and that she plans to post a selection on TikTok in the near future to shed light on the problem.

Get praise
Despite many inappropriate messages, Finnja wants to make it clear that she is mostly satisfied with her job and her influencer hobby.
She often writes on social media that she is grateful for all the support she receives from her followers.
“I really appreciate you all,” she writes under a picture.
Many of her followers support the work she does:
– Never mind the bastards. You are amazing, and we are grateful for your efforts, writes one follower.
– You are a hero! Stand up and continue with the normalization of women in “male professions”, writes another.
