In September, after Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Burnley, Marcus Rashford crashed his car badly outside the club’s training ground.

Rashford avoided injury himself, but his Rolls-Royce, worth £700,000, equivalent to almost NOK 9.5 million, was virtually a total wreck.

Due to the severe damage to the car, it was eventually sold at an online auction. The YouTuber Mat Armstrong won, writes the Daily Mail.

– Much worse

He did not have to pay more than 184,000 pounds for the car, which corresponds to around 2.5 million Norwegian kroner. That is seven million less than what Rashford is supposed to have paid for it in his time.

In a video on his YouTube channel, Armstrong takes a close look at the damage to the car, a Rolls-Royce Wraith.

Based on the images shown in the video, you quickly understand why Rashford ended up selling the car. There was damage to almost the entire car. It was especially the front of the car that was destroyed, with the grill on the car completely ripped off.

– My God, it almost looks like a banana. The injuries were much worse than I first thought, says a slightly shocked Armstrong in the video.

The left side of the vehicle can also be seen to have been badly damaged, with large dents on the car. The chassis of the luxury car was also torn up after Rashford’s crash.

Get the car started

Armstrong has nevertheless paid good money for the car, in the hope of being able to fix it. In the video, you can see that he spends several days working on the car to get it to start.

After failing several times, he finally manages to get it working, despite the nasty damage from the crash.

And although this car was totaled and sold for a fraction of what it once cost, Rashford can take solace in the fact that he has several luxury cars in his collection.

According to the Daily Mail, he has recently bought his third Rolls-Royce, a Cullinan Blue Shadow, for 560,000 pounds, equivalent to around 7.5 million Norwegian kroner.

The Manchester United star is also said to have a McLaren 765 Long Tail and a Lamborghini Urus Performante in his luxury car collection.
