--

2024 offers a good dose of horror films.

So far, there haven’t been that many horror films to watch on the screen this year, but fear not – now they’re coming on a conveyor belt.

After all, horror and crime are part of Easter, so for the occasion we have therefore collected 12 upcoming horror films that we can’t wait to see in the future.

As of today, we have received horror in the form of, among other things Night Swim alias Help, the swimming pool is haunted! This week the stage was also set for the Norwegian premiere of the sequel to Winnie the Pooh and Nasse Nøff’s bloody revenge in Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2.

The time ahead, however, offers more gothic horror à la evil forces in the church and a bloodthirsty ballerina.

In addition, we also get a couple of remakes and sequels – as well as a prequel.

Check out the 12 upcoming horror movies we can’t wait to see below.

Abigail

(Universal Pictures)

Premiere: April 19.

Babysitting becomes bloody when a group kidnaps a 12-year-old ballerina named Abigail. She is the daughter of a powerful man in the Underworld – not to be confused with the Underworld. Not yet, anyway.

All they have to do to get their ransom is to look after the weasel for the next 24 hours in an isolated mansion. Eventually, however, they discover that the girl is not quite like other 12-year-olds.

It turns out that Abigail is a vampire, and now the gang must find out how to kill the bloodsucker.

Incidentally, this is one of the last films Angus Cloud made before he died last year
