Culture and entertainment: The theft happened at Stavanger Foto just before 03.30 on Monday night. The police were alerted by a security company, and immediately moved out, but the thieves had left the scene before they arrived.

– The break-in appears professional and planned, as they took some of the most expensive products in the store, says police attorney Linn Bakken Bertelsen in the Sørvest police district.

– The sound of the obtained surveillance material gives rise to the suspicion that the thieves may have spoken to each other in Eastern European, but we do not know this for sure, she says.

Surveillance images from the photo shop show two people dressed in dark clothing and masked. According to the police, the thieves probably entered through the entrance, which was broken when the police arrived at the scene.

So far, no one has been arrested or suspected in the case.

– Those who have information about suspicious activity around Stavanger Foto during the night to Monday, or in the days before, are asked to contact the police, says Bertelsen.
