Actor and model Charlbi Dean has died, aged 32.

Dean died on August 29 of an unexpected, sudden illness.
She recently played in the Palme d’Or award-winning “Triangle of Sadness”. There she played against Woody Harrelson, among other things. The film is directed by the Swedish director Ruben Östlund.
In the fashion world satirical film, Dean interpreted the role of the model Yaya whom one of the guests invites on board a superyacht which becomes the site of a chaotic plot development.
The film title plays on the triangle in the forehead where wrinkles easily form.
The late actor is also known from the role of Syonide in the TV series “Black Lightning”.

Dean was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She started as a child model aged six and went to home school from the age of 14 to be able to combine it with her career, according to the online encyclopedia Wikipedia.
She alternated between Cape Town, where she attended theater school, and working in Tokyo, New York and London.
In 2008, she survived a car accident.
