Recently, Sweden’s Princess Madeleine (41) shared an Easter greeting from herself and her family on Instagram.
Dumps the price – again
Since 2018, the princess has lived in Florida with her husband Chris O’Neill (49) and their children Leonore (10), Nicolas (8) and Adrienne (6). The family was originally supposed to move home to Sweden in 2023, but the plan keeps getting postponed, and they are still in the US.
They also spent Easter there, where they seemed to enjoy sunny days. In the Instagram update, the 41-year-old is pictured with her two daughters, who are wearing matching summer dresses. Underneath the picture, she has written: “Happy Easter”.
But where were Chris and Prince Nicolas?
The princess does not often share pictures of the boys in the family, something several people have noticed. In the comments section, several people ask how special the prince is.
Breaking royal “tradition”
Now Madeleine has taken to Instagram’s story function to “explain” why her husband and son are not seen on the photo-sharing platform to the same extent as their daughters.
The boys seem to be most comfortable staying in the background.
“Some boys just want to hang out in the background,” writes the princess to a photo of Chris and Nicolas on the beach, with their backs to the camera.
