Cult band

Since the mid-70s, Clayton has been part of the cult band U2 along with Bono, Larry Mullen and David Evans, better known as The Edge.

All four have been members since the beginning, and have since released 15 albums and sold several million copies.

For several decades, the rock band has engaged in political activism through songs such as “Sunday, Bloody Sunday”. In 2018, frontman Bono also criticized the Swedish politician Jimmie Åkesson.

During a concert in Paris, Bono showed the Nazi salute and used a devil filter to criticize the leader of the Sweden Democrats.
