Investor Arne Fredly flagged early on Monday morning that he had sold 20 million shares in Hunter Group, where he is the largest owner through AF Capital, where he is the sole owner. After the transaction, he then owned 29.69 per cent of the shares in the shipping company.

The shares were sold in the market at a price of NOK 0.0775 per share, which means a sale of NOK 15.5 million.

Beyond Monday, Fredly is flagging another share sale from AF Capital, this time 2.3 million shares for NOK 0.09 per share, i.e. a significantly better price than the first sale. After the latest sale, Fredly owns 29.29 percent of Hunter.

On Monday, it also became known that Songa Capital as, which is controlled by Arne Blystad, is selling almost 29 million shares in Hunter Group, and now owns 7.2 million shares in the company, corresponding to 1.26 percent of the shares.

The share trades for around NOK 0.09 on Oslo Børs, valuing the company at NOK 52.4 million. The share has risen over 90 per cent in the past year.

In August last year, the news broke that the company had entered into an agreement to sell the entire tanker fleet for NOK 3.8 billion.

– We are selling because the price was good and that you can buy tank shares cheaper than what the price indicates, Fredly told DN.

In the months since, the company has approved dividends of over one billion kroner. (Terms)Copyright Dagens Næringsliv AS and/or our suppliers.
