The bridge in Kvænangen municipality in Troms and Finnmark has received a “serious search”.
– E6 is the main traffic artery that connects Norway. Norway is now divided in two, says operations manager Karl Eirik Thomassen to VG.
The bridge is in Badderen in Kvænangen municipality in Troms and Finnmark.
The emergency services are on their way to the scene. There are no detours on site, except via Finland.

So far no one was able to send in the perfect solution, which is not strange. The Norwegian Public Roads Administration sends a contractor to the site.
Operations Manager Thomassen says that it was a road user who reported.
– He has also helped prevent others from driving over. There is an old bridge next to it as smoke last year, says Thomassen.
By 6.30 pm, the police had not arrived.
– The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has sent out a contractor to assess it. But that does not sound like a quick fix. If the bridge fails, it sounds serious, says the operations manager.
