Now Sigrid and her boyfriend confirm that the two have gone their separate ways.
– We can confirm that it is over. We are still good friends, and we have had a very good time together, writes Nikolai Schirmer in an SMS to TV 2.
Sigrid also confirms to TV 2, via Kim Paulsen in Petroleum Records, that the two are good friends, but that they are no longer lovers.
She does not wish to comment further on the breach.
Sigrid met Schirmer during the filming of a commercial for Gore Tex.
– It’s not the first time I’m in a relationship, but right now I’m so proud that I could not keep it a secret, Sigrid said about her boyfriend at Lindmo in October 2021.
In an earlier interview with VG, Schirmer also expressed his enthusiasm for his then girlfriend.
– I am very proud, and feel that I have won the Lotto every day, he told the newspaper.
The former couple has on several occasions shared photos of each other on Instagram.
Sigrid’s big breakthrough came in 2017 with the song “Don’t kill my vibe”, before she launched her debut album “Sucker Punch” in 2019. The album debuted on the VG list with first place, and also went into a fourth place on the British album list.
Now she is up to date with her new album “How to Let Go”.
