It was 21-year-old Kevin Van from Larvik who died in a traffic accident on Lågendalsveien on Tuesday 9 August.
This is stated by the South-Eastern Police District in a press release on Thursday afternoon.
The accident happened at 10pm on Tuesday evening, a few kilometers north of Kvelde.
– The publication takes place in consultation with the family. The accident was a one-off accident in which the car the 21-year-old was driving left the road. The police and the National Road Administration’s accident team are investigating the accident, but it is too early to conclude with a clear cause of the accident, the press release states.
The man came driving from Hvarnes and was on his way home towards Larvik when the car he was driving ended up off the road.
The accident occurred in or just after a slight turn. ØP’s journalist, who was at the scene, said that it was clear that the car had had a real rollover before it ended up on its wheels again.
