Sophie Elise Isachsen (29) and her partner Vegard Jørstad became parents for the first time last week when she gave birth to a little boy. Since then, she has kept relatively quiet, but on Wednesday she shared an update with her Instagram followers.
– Can we just give her a chance?
“I’m very much in the bubble right now and learning to get to know the little one, me and Vegard as parents, etc. But we’re doing incredibly well and everyone is healthy and fast. I just don’t have the heart to live these moments through the phone, I want to be properly present,” writes Isachsen on Story.

In the feed, she has shared both a photo of a heavily pregnant baby belly, as well as a photo without a belly, but with her son.
She has also spoken out on Snapchat, after several days of silence.

“A sign of life!! We are doing very well and everyone is healthy, but I want to be properly present with both baby H and Vegard. This is a period we will never get back, and I want to see it through with my own eyes, and not via my mobile phone.”
Could this be the baby’s name?
“I’m going to have a LOT to tell when I’m back – everything from the birth story to the name to breastfeeding and relationships and yes, EVERYTHING. But first.. back in the bubble”.
Instagram was also the platform where the influencer chose to share the baby news for the first time. Then with a picture of himself and his son from the hospital bed.

“I was very much in shock when he arrived and it took me quite a few hours to land afterwards, I couldn’t understand that HE was my baby. Absolutely insane feeling. But now I’ve taken it in, and he’s absolutely perfect,” was one of the things she wrote then.
