Erling Braut Haaland has bought a giant villa in Marbella

--

It’s no secret that Norway’s new Manchester City star, Erling Braut Haaland (22), finds peace on the Spanish sunny coast, and several times he has posted pictures on social media from relaxing holiday trips to Marbella. Most recently after his first home game in light blue in August, he went live to relax on the beach in Spain. Here, a top-trained and bathing Haaland was pictured in the waves, which was discussed by, among others, the Spanish sports newspaper AS.

– It is not the first time that he has been seen in Marbella. This time it was after a fight to charge the batteries, the newspaper wrote.

The Spanish holiday town has apparently become like a second home for the jærbow, and now there are several things that indicate that he will spend a lot of time there in the future as well.

Exclusive property

Around the same time that the headlines about an alleged move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City appeared this spring, he invested in a 981 square meter home on the sunny coast.

Avisa AS wrote in March that the 22-year-old had signed a purchase contract for a home worth 6.5 million euros. This corresponds to NOK 63 million.

According to Spanish property registers, it is true that in April Braut Haaland bought a home in one of Marbella’s most exclusive areas, close to the “Golden Mile”.

The documents show that the property has an auction value of just under NOK 60 million.

The home, which was completed in 2018, is located on a property with fantastic views of the city and the Mediterranean.

The property has a large outdoor pool, outdoor shower facility, as well as a large garden with several seating areas.

The pool alone is 77 square meters. 375 of the home’s square meters are built underground. The entire plot is no less than 2,091 square meters.

The home also has, among other things, several large living rooms, spacious bedrooms, sauna, garage, as well as a larger area with a terrace.

Owns several homes

It is clear that Haaland sees value in investing in property. According to Spanish property records, he also bought a property in Marbella in the summer of 2021.

The home is located in an urban area, has a size of over 600 square metres, and was built in 2018.

In the documents, it is referred to as a family home on a larger plot of land, approximately 964 square metres.

This property is a ten minute drive from Braut Haaland’s new property.

What Braut Haaland will do with this property after his new investment is not known.

For several years, Braut Haaland has had Marbella as her refuge. Here he spent a lot of time on holiday, alone as well as with his family.

Good evening Norway has tried to get a comment from Braut Haaland’s father, Alfie Haaland, on the occasion of his son’s home purchase, without success.

Earn several million – a week

In May, it was confirmed that Haaland left Borussia Dortmund in favor of a five-year contract with Manchester City. He is said to have been bought out for around 60 million euros. Since then, there has been much speculation about how much Jærbuen would earn at the English big club.

Several claimed he will earn somewhere between £400,000 and £500,000 a week, but TV 2’s football reporter, Arilas Berg Ould-Saada, believed he would be unlikely to earn more than Manchester City’s highest-paid player, Kevin De Bruyne, who has £375,000 in week.

– It is difficult to determine exactly what the salary will be, Ould-Saada said at the time.

Haaland scored 86 goals in 89 games for his old club Borussia Dortmund. Expectations for the Norwegian in Manchester City were therefore sky high before his debut in the Premier League.

On 7 August, Haaland scored in his very first Premier League game, in a light blue suit against West Ham, and already met expectations.
