This is what meteorologist on duty Ingrid Bentsen at the Meteorological Institute tells Sandefjords Blad on Wednesday.
In Sandefjord, we got a real taste of summer last week, before the temperatures have returned to normal at the start of this week. On Wednesday and Thursday there may be the occasional local shower, but from Thursday evening there is a forecast of stay and sunshine.
– From Thursday evening we enter a week with lots of good weather, stay and periods of sunshine. It can be up to 20 degreeswith slightly variable cloud cover, says Bentsen about the Sandefjord weather.
Uncertain 17 May weather
The stay weather looks set to last until Thursday 16 May, but there is some uncertainty about the weather on National Day.
– Around 17 May there may be thunderstorms again, but it is uncertain whether it will happen exactly on 17 May or if it will come later. Now Sandefjord lies along the coast, and there is less chance of the showers hitting, as it looks now. But it is a little too early to say, says Bentsen.

Calm wind conditions
Before that time, it looks like there will be calm wind conditions, other than a few periods of fresh breeze.
– This weekend looks good. We probably won’t get above 20 degrees, but it probably won’t be that far away, especially if you come a little in from the coast, says Bentsen.
In Andebu, for example, temperatures of up to 21 degrees have been forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
