“Both me and my partner were mildly shocked by weather forecaster Siri Wiberg, she wasn’t wearing anything pink”, writes the viewer in a complaint sent to the Broadcasting Council, according to the industry newspaper.

“This has been something that we have gathered around, as we have guessed what or where she is wearing pink at the next weather forecast,” continues the complainant.
The complaint was never taken up in the Broadcasting Council, writes Medier 24.
– Is it serious? Does it really work? This cannot be very serious. But it’s very funny that it involves what I’m wearing on TV, says Wiberg to the industry newspaper.

Wiberg has reported the weather on NRK since 2004, and this is not the first time her choice of colors has attracted attention.
In addition to pink hair, she has also been seen on TV with, for example, purple hair color back in 2015.
– I’ve wanted to do it for a while, but then I didn’t know if I dared – since I work for the state channel after all. In the end I just did it, she told Dagbladet at the time.
Wiberg went on to say that some people opened their eyes after the hair color change.
– Others say I’m tough. But it has been entirely positive, so it hasn’t been a problem.

Pink car
On Instagram, under the name the_pink_weathergirl, Wiberg presents herself as a state meteorologist and weather lady from Drangedal in Telemark, who, among other things, “loves pink”.
She loves the color so much that she has a pink car, called The Pink Lightning. The car also has its own Instagram account. Wiberg had the car painted pink back in 2017, according to the Instagram account.
Dagbladet was unable to get in touch with Wiberg on Wednesday evening.
