There are major delays in train traffic in the Oslo area following a signal fault at Skøyen station.

– There are delays in the direction of Oslo, of fifteen minutes to half an hour due to a signal error at Skøyen station, says Anne Kirkhusmo, press officer at Bane Nor, to VG.

The error that occurred at 4.30pm has now been corrected, reports Bane Nor.

Although the error has been corrected, Bane Nor says that train travelers on the Drammen and Askerbanen still have to expect adjustments and delays.

The error affects all train lines that pass through the Oslo Tunnel, including the flight train.

Train lines that may be affected:

  • Spikkestad – Lillestrøm, Hovedbanen
  • Kongsberg – Eidsvoll, Gardermobanen
  • Drammen – Dal, main line
  • Asker – Kongsvinger, Kongsvingerbanen
  • Stabekk – Ski, Østfoldbanen
  • Stabekk – Moss, Østfoldbanen west line
  • Oslo S – Rakkestad, Østfoldbanen east line
  • Drammen – Lillehammer, Dovrebanen
  • The Skien – Eidsvoll, Vestfold and Gardermo line
  • Drammen – Oslo airport/Oslo Airport, Flytoget
  • Stabekk – Oslo airport/Oslo Airport, Flytoget
