In June last year, a 24-year-old man is said to have committed acts against women that qualify as rape, or attempts to do so, on two occasions.

The first report came to the police on 12 June at 5.20pm, when the 24-year-old allegedly tried to assault a woman. For this, he is charged with attempted rape.

The next assault is said to have occurred on 28 June at 4pm in the same park.

The act a woman was then subjected to has led to charges of consummated rape.

Avisa Oslo reported the abuses when the 24-year-old was remanded in custody for two weeks, after being arrested on 3 July.

He then pleaded not guilty to the charge, which during his imprisonment only applied to the assault on 28 June.

He was nevertheless a suspect for the incident on 12 June, the AO was informed by the police.

The 24-year-old is also accused of having committed sexual acts against someone who did not consent to it, inside a shopping centre.

At the beginning of January 2023, the first case is said to have occurred inside the shopping centre. Then he allegedly grabbed a woman’s ass.

On 24 January, he allegedly exposed three more women to the same thing inside the centre.

The state prosecutors warn that they will claim a verdict on transfer to compulsory mental health care when the 24-year-old must appear in the Oslo District Court on 10 April.

In addition, a claim will be made for compensation and compensation for the exposed women.
