On Saturday evening during the Palm weekend, a man in his early 40s was hit by several shots at Hersleb school on Tøyen in central Oslo.
The man was seriously injured, but his life is not in danger.
The police believe that the shooting is connected to an ongoing conflict in a crime-ridden environment, probably related to drug dealing.
So far, two men – respectively in their 30s and 40s – have been arrested and charged with attempted murder. At Easter, both were remanded in custody for two weeks.

– Does not rule out more arrests
At the same time, the police are hunting for at least one more person, who they believe committed the actual shooting, according to Dagbladet’s information.
– We are still working to map the sequence of events and still do not rule out more arrests, says police attorney Henrik Rådal, who will not comment specifically on whether the police believe they have control over the shooter.
The police have been reticent to comment on the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident, but Dagbladet is told that they believe the victim was lured to Hersleb school ahead of the incident.
It is unclear what role the accused may have played in this. Rådal does not wish to comment on this information either.
– It is too early to say anything about motive and motive, because we are still working to map this out, says the police attorney.
Narcotics and weapons offences
One of the two who have so far been charged in the case – the man in his 40s – was arrested in Sweden last Monday and later extradited to Norway.
The man has been convicted a number of times in the past – mainly for profiteering and drug crimes, according to court documents to which Dagbladet has access.
The provisional last sentence against the man is from 2019, when he was sentenced in the Oslo district court to two years in prison for, among other things, drug possession and weapons offences.
In connection with the remand last week, the man’s defender at the time, Anne Marstrander-Berg, stated that he had not decided on the issue of criminal guilt for the charge.
– Acts uncomprehending
The other accused – the man in his 30s – was arrested last Tuesday. He denies criminal guilt, according to defender Trond Eirik Aansløkken.
– He does not understand the charge, he says to Dagbladet.
Aansløkken’s client is also known to the police from previous profiteering and drug cases, although not serious violent offenses for which he is now charged.
The offended man is also described as an acquaintance of the police.
