Selv if the short bob is here to stay for a while, many can now rejoice that the extra long hairstyles have now made a comeback.
That’s what the British magazine Who What Wear writes.
The last conversation: – He knew he was loved when he left us
Let’s take a look at which hair trends will dominate the rest of 2024.
Volume
KK reported in March at the latest that the volume trend is still strong, and according to the British magazine we will see much more of this in 2024 as well. The bigger, the better!
– The big hair is back. Think 1980s tousled hairstyles, but with a more modern, less stiff feel. In any case, volume is what matters now, fashion editor Ida Elise Eide Einarsdóttir wrote at the time.
Baroque Bob
Last year, the bob took over the fashion scene, and there were many different variations of the classic short look.
Earlier this year, KK had a chat with hairdresser and creative director in Adam og Eva, Eirik Thorsen. At the time, he stated that the Italian bob would be one of the hairstyles of the year.
We’re not quite done with the bob yet. Now the “baroquoe bob” will also become a talking point in 2024, hair expert Jason Crozier tells the magazine.
Celebs like Zendaya continue to promote airy locks with a kind of experimental twist, creating a combination of timelessness and modern elements.
– Everywhere
Set up with the little extra
The “old money” look continues this year too and with that we can expect to see more of the classic updos. However, these will have an unfinished element that will make them more usable.
– The trend will develop with a hint of nature, which reflects a desire for understated elegance, says Crozier.
Think buns and ponytails with natural texture.
XL length
Those who would prefer to go in a completely different direction from the bob also have good times in store. Now the extra long locks are back in, and all you have to do is retrieve the old extensions.
This is something we see in the fashion scene already, and Norwegian celebrities such as Fetisha Williams are strong supporters of the trend.
The bow trend continues
The coquettish bow took the world by storm last autumn and it will be with us in the future.
During the fashion week in Paris, Prada showed bows in abundance on the catwalk, and now the bow can be attached to anything, and that of course includes bows in the hair.
– So, this will never end. Bows have almost infiltrated the trend scene recently. Christmasy, by all means, but there is clearly no way about who, what, where, when and how, stated KK’s fashion and beauty editor Ida Elise Eide Einarsdóttir in December.
The detail attracts attention
At the time, she predicted that the trend would continue in 2024, which she was probably absolutely right about:
– If you’re tired already, mark my words; Bows will continue to dominate the fashion scene. Sorry.
Bambi blonde
Syrup-blonde and cowboy-copper are talking points that KK has previously reported.
Now a new variant of warm hair tones will also dominate the trend picture, namely Bambi blonde.
Superstars like Sofia Richie have already embraced the trend:
This year we can expect to see more of this warm and multi-toned hair colour, and John Frieda creative director Zoe Irwin details how to achieve this look:
– It’s a layering technique with painstaking stripes in favor of thicker layers of honey, caramel, beige and gold tones that blend seamlessly together, she tells Who What Wear.
