Last autumn, the Swedish influencer Jennifer Andersson (24), known as Zennufer, shared that she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend Pelle Bjersbo (27).

Ever since the happy news became known, the 24-year-old has been diligently sharing her pregnancy on social media, and just a few weeks before the birth, the couple wrote: “Mummy and daddy are ready for you”, in a post on Instagram.

However, the happiness would prove to be short-lived, and Andersson and Bjersbo now say that their son died two days before the due date. They share the tragic incident in a joint post on Instagram.

“Our beloved, beloved son Ralph. Life is so damn unfair and cruel. You were taken from us far too soon,” the couple initially wrote.

The first picture shows Bjersbo with their son in his arms, and the second is a close-up of the hands of father and son.

“All we wanted was you. We have gathered as much love as we were prepared to give to you. You are our whole world. We have no words”, they write further.

The couple do not hide that it was a big shock to lose their son, and are now asking their followers for time to grieve.

“The shock has started to wear off and now the grief is taking over. Maybe there will come a time when we can tell you more, but now we need time to grieve. Mom and Dad love you forever. You will always be our son”, it says at the end.

Paying tribute to the girlfriend

In front of the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, Andersson writes that he died in the womb only a couple of days before she was due to give birth. At the hospital, they started the labor the same evening they learned that the heart had stopped beating.
