Last week, hundreds of truck and trailer tires at several dairies in England were destroyed by a group of vegan activists who threaten Britain’s milk supplies.

– Animal Rebellion has disrupted yet another dairy, this time in Hatfield. This is the fifth day of action and the seventh dairy has been closed, the action group writes in a post on Instagram.

The campaigners have also shared a video showing them entering the area of an Arla dairy and drilling holes in the tires of the milk vans:

The Nation has previously written about the activists from Animal Rebellion, a subgroup of Extinction Rebellion, who fight for everyone to switch to plant-based food and drink products.

In August, the activists emptied milk onto the floor inside the luxury shopping center Harrods in London.

Arla Foods UK, one of the country’s largest milk suppliers, has warned that there could be a shortage of milk if the protests are carried out.

“Anything that increases costs for the business will end up increasing costs for customers,” Arla Foods UK director Ash Amirahmadi told The Sun.
