In February, a Russian official said on Telegram that an American-made M1 Abrams had been destroyed by the Russian army in Ukraine.

He promised that it would be put on display for the world to see.

Shortly after, the Kremlin published and commented on a video on the state-owned channel Tass. They said the video showed the attack on an Abrams tank. According to the state-owned channel RT, the Russian forces had destroyed what they called the “trophy tank”.

Now the Kremlin is also rolling out the trophy tank on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow.
