Vladimir Solovyov warns: Russia must prepare for decades of conflict with the West

Not since the Cold War in the 1980s have relations between Russia and the West been cooler.

On the Western side, one defense chief and intelligence service after another have warned that Russia may be able to attack NATO countries within a time frame of two to eight years. That is why equipment is now being upgraded at record speed in several countries.

Hateful plots against the West

In Russia, Vladimir Putin has long since put the country’s industry in war mode. Hundreds of thousands of Russians are mobilized to sacrifice their lives for Putin’s great power ambitions, and just as many are either dead, wounded or missing.

On Putin’s shoulders stand several of the most hardened nationalists. One of them is the propagandist Vladimir Solovyov. He has on a number of occasions made very hateful comments against the West, and among other things has called for the bombing of major European cities.

Now he is asking the Russian people to prepare for a protracted battle between “evil and good”.

– They want to see Moscow’s strategic defeat

– It is impossible to make peace between good and evil. We are good and they are evil. It is simple and clear. For them, we are obviously the main enemy and several decades of confrontation lie ahead of us, Solovyov said on the Russia 1 channel, writes Newsweek.

According to a clip published on X, the Putin patriot talks about the West as Russia’s main adversary.

– They want to see Moscow’s strategic defeat, and for that they are ready to take the most risky steps. We are not surprised. They want to destroy millions of innocent people, says Solovyov.

– We can never make the same mistake again

The TV profile continued its monologue showing that the Soviet Union made a big mistake when Russian troops were removed from countries, such as Ukraine, where the bases were stationed.

– We thought that the rotten, diabolical West would fulfill some obligations. We can never make the same mistake again, the Russia 1 profile said, drawing parallels to World War II when Nazi Germany fought the Soviet army.

As is well known, Putin has branded the leadership in Ukraine as Nazi, and that Russia is fighting an ideological war against the West, without mentioning that it was Putin himself who gave the order to start the war against and invade Ukraine.
