A father and his 2-year-old daughter died in a car accident last summer. At first it was investigated as an accident – until the police found a pre-written message on the father’s computer.

“I am so incredibly proud to be your mother. I miss you so much”, wrote the mother on Facebook, according to the Daily Mirror.

It was on Father’s Day last year that Ashley Henry drove his car straight into an oncoming lorry on the A153 in Lincolnshire, UK. He had his 2-year-old daughter with him Oria in the car. Both perished.

It all looked like a tragic accident.

But after the coroner took a closer look, he discovered that the girl had probably already died before her father’s car crashed. There are some things that point to it, but at the same time it is impossible to know exactly when and why she died.

The Daily Mirror writes that the police opened a murder investigation. In addition, suspicions that he had taken his own life began to swirl.

Had anxiety after the divorce

Ashley and his former partner Rachael Leader had separated and he had visitation rights with his daughter Oria on certain weekends. He and the 2-year-old had spent the weekend together in Skegness, Lincolnshire, but it was on the way home that the accident happened.

Ashley had not taken the divorce well and it was known from before that he had been depressed and had anxiety attacks.

The case continues after the picture.

When the police found his computer at his home, they realized that he had not died in an accident at all. The truth was that he drove into the truck on purpose. He had written a message on his computer clearly explaining how he was going to carry out his terrible plan.

Her mother Rachael wrote this lovely tribute to her daughter shortly after she passed away:

“To my beloved daughter, Oria. I love you so much. I am so sorry that your precious life was taken from you. You gave me so much light baby, so much love and so much happiness. I will remember every moment we had together. You had the most beautiful smile and the most wonderful curly hair. You touched many hearts, Oria, and I am so incredibly proud to be your mother. I miss you so much”she writes on Facebook.

“I was invited along for the ride”

According to OK! Magazine, Rachael has previously spoken out about her ex-partner’s terrible cruelty that took the life of her little darling.

“I cannot understand how you can take the life of your child without hesitation. And to have planned it for weeks. It’s psychotic. I was invited on that trip, but I declined because I had other plans. Imagine if I had accepted, then I probably wouldn’t be sitting here telling you this», she previously wrote on Facebook.

“I want to disappear into a cave and not talk to anyone. There is no way to escape this. When you see other 2 year olds, when you walk past her bedroom door every day, when you see her toys in the same place every day. There is nowhere to run. I wish I had more time with her. I really do. What happened is so horrible. I know a lot of anger. Anger is normal, it’s when it becomes rage and bitterness that it weighs on you,” she continued.

Rachael Leader is known for appearing on the TV dating program “First dates hotel”.

This is absolutely terrible! How can you do that to your own daughter? An innocent girl who cannot defend herself.

Tragic is what it is.
