When Victoria Nadine (23) met her boyfriend, Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll (31), she had essentially given up on love for good.
That’s what she tells presenter Ida Fladen (36) in a new episode of the podcast “Ida with the heart in the hand”. After several bad experiences in previous relationships, the artist decided never to fall in love again – but then everything turned around.

In the podcast, the 23-year-old says that she met Gørvell-Dahll, known to many under the stage name Kygo, up to several times without her thinking there was anything between them. This only happened after several months, at a nachspiel.
– I was closed all evening, until the end of the evening, when there was a nach. And it ended with a bit of playing the grand piano and that “vibe” there, she tells presenter Fladen.
– Should never have a girlfriend
During the nachspielet, where Gørvell-Dahll’s friend played the grand piano while the others sang, Victoria Nadine suddenly recalled an earlier interview she had done with P3 a few years back in which she described her dream date. Her answer back then was to sit on a grand piano with a guy. And suddenly she was sitting there.
– So then I sat there and was like: “Now you have to wake up, now you’re sitting here. And this guy here is just absolutely gorgeous, he’s just kind and good through and through,” she recalls in the podcast.
She describes the experience as being in a Disney film, where falling in love came almost like lightning from the blue.
– I felt like I got such a light over me and just: “Now I fell in love”. It was really strange, because the whole evening before that there was nothing. I should never have a boyfriend, says the 23-year-old.

– But then it dawned on me. It was the setting that was needed, that I could connect it to the fact that now you are the one stopping yourself from potentially getting very good. It would probably have happened at one point or another anyway, the chemistry we have now is unique. But for me it was that incident that made my eyes open a lot, she adds.
Storm in love
It was at the beginning of November, after several weeks of speculation, that the “Be okay” singer confirmed that she had found love with the popular DJ from Bergen.
She then told in an interview on the radio channel NRJ that it was Gørvell-Dahll who initiated their first conversation. This happened on Instagram, and after some back-and-forth talk, they decided to meet. But then, as mentioned, it would take some time before the romantic feelings blossomed.
And now there is a lot of romantic feelings between them.
When Nettavisen met Victoria Nadine during the annual award ceremony P3 Gold at the end of November this year, she could tell, among other things, that she had never loved someone so much before:
– Earlier in life you have been in love, but this is the first time I have known that I love someone and being loved.
