PROVIDENCE, RI – Quinnipiac Men’s Ice Hockey dropped its NCAA Regional Final contest against Boston College on Sunday, March 31, 2024 by the final score of 5-4 at Amica Mutual Pavilion.
Jack Malone scored the game-winner 3:06 into overtime to send the Eagles to the Frozen Four.
The Bobcats jumped out to a pair of two-goal advantages, scoring the game’s first two tallies and then answering a Boston College goal to go up 3-1 midway through the second.

Boston College struck back, scoring two before the end of the frame to knot the proceedings at three.
Jacob Quillan added his second of the game just 16 seconds into the third, making it 4-3 Bobcats.

The Eagles tied it at the 15:16 mark of the third before scoring the decider in overtime.
STATUS AND NOTES
- The Bobcats have made the Regional Final six times since the 2012-13 campaign, good for third in the nation. Only Denver and Minnesota Duluth have gone more.
- Jacob Quillan, Charles Alexis Legault duck Victor Czerneckianair all earned All-Region Team honorees. Quillan and Czerneckianair each had a multi-goal game, while Legault dished a pair of helpers in Sunday’s Regional Final.
- Quillan recorded his eighth multi-goal game as a Bobcat and 24th with two or more points. Both numbers are good for second on the squad.
- Legault’s two assists culminated his hot run to finish off the campaign. He ended the season with 15 points over the final 11 games, totaling 24 on the season.
- Quinnipiac finished the season 27-10-2, good for fourth in total wins in the nation.
