The improved design of the A series feels even better in the hand with rounded edges, a matte back and a polished aluminum frame. The robust design can withstand spills, dust and minor accidents, making the Pixel 8a the most durable phone in the A series yet. In addition, the new Actua screen is 40 percent brighter than on the Pixel 7a, and a faster refresh rate of 120 Hz makes scrolling comfortable.
There are two new colors in the A series: Aloe (limited edition only) and Bay. You can also choose between the neutral colors Obsidian or Porcelain. For the first time, a larger storage capacity of 256 GB is also offered, giving you more space for your favorite content.

Voted the best camera mobile in its category, Pixel 8a is equipped with a powerful dual camera on the back with a main lens of 64 megapixels and an ultra-wide-angle lens of 13 megapixels. It also has a 13-megapixel front camera with a wide field of view, so you can capture more in every shot.

The Pixel’s “At a Glance” widget keeps you updated by placing important information directly on your lock screen. See upcoming events, weather, travel updates and time-sensitive reminders without even unlocking your phone.
Pixel 8a also comes with “Audio Emoji”, which will make your phone calls more expressive and engaging than before. With “Audio Emoji”, you only need to tap an emoji to trigger an audio reaction and visual effect. Try using the clap emoji to applaud a job well done, or the laugh emoji after telling a good joke.

Safety and security are always the highest priority. Like the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, this phone is built with the latest Google Tensor G3 chip, Google’s fastest and most secure chip yet. Starting today, you can also pre-order the Pixel Tablet without a charging dock and speaker for NOK 5,790. The Pixel Tablet continues to offer more help both in the hand and at home with additional features such as Circle to Search, which will launch later this month.
