All emergency services called
Communications adviser at the Central Rescue Service, Anja Bakken, tells Dagbladet that they currently have little information about the situation.
– We do not know how many people are on board the ship, which is located at Steinsundet. We investigate which other boats are in the area at the same time as we try to get an overview of the actual situation and what damage the ship has, says Bakken.
It was TV 2 that first mentioned the incident. At 10 o’clock Bakken informs Dagbladet that they still have not confirmed the number of people on board.
– All emergency services have been notified and are on their way. The situation at the site is relatively calm, and there are no known injuries. It is reported that the ship is losing water, and it is assumed that it has suffered a hole in a ballast tank. The situation appears to be under control, she tells Dagbladet.
