The 19-year-old woman who lost her life in a traffic jam south of Jørpeland on Thursday morning was a Slovenian national team athlete. The police confirm this in a press release.
The national team wrote about the death on their own websites.
The woman who died was Hana Mazi Jamnik.
The national team says the death was a tragic accident. The next of kin have been notified.

Jamnik participated in the Blinkfestivalen in Sandnes at the beginning of August this year.
Last season he was junior world champion in roller skiing. In Finland in 2021, she finished 12th in the junior WC on snow. This is her best individual result. She also participated in the junior WC at Lygna in February this year.
