The chief negotiator for SAS says she is “very surprised” that the pilots did not want to negotiate through the night.

According to Dagens Næringsliv, it was the pilots who unilaterally announced on Sunday night that they would leave the mediation, which takes place in Stockholm.

– SAS has wanted to use every hour that remains until Monday at 12.00 for mediation. Therefore, I am very surprised that the pilots chose to go home and go to bed, says Marianne Hernæs, who is the negotiation manager for SAS.

According to E24, mediation will resume at 8 am on Monday morning.
