In Nettavisen’s Easter column, it is about Easter, and several famous people talk about their plans for this holiday and their best and worst Easter memories. Not least, they reveal what they must have in their Easter egg. From us to you – HAPPY EASTER!

Influencers and TV profile Vita Mashadi (31), together with her twin sister Wanda, have launched perfume and skin care products, and they also have a podcast together.

This year, Vita Mashadi breaks with the tradition of celebrating Easter in the city in favor of the mountain, but she has promised herself never to go to Beitostølen again.

Here is the Easter talk with Vita Mashadi:

What are your plans for Easter and who will you be spending it with?
– My Easter plans this year are to get to the mountains. Haven’t quite decided where, but it will be some mountain. I’ve always had a city Easter and loved it, but feel that I need a mountain Easter this year, as I’ve skied far too little this year.

What is your Easter tradition?
– I don’t really have any special Easter traditions. I haven’t had an Easter egg in the last five years because of the candy ban, so it’s about to expire. So I would really like to say that I don’t have any particular Easter traditions? Often feel there is a bit of pressure when you have to have certain traditions. I’m more for lowering your shoulders and just taking it as it comes, and enjoying every moment, me.

What is the most overrated Easter tradition?
– Hmm, I can’t quite answer this one, I think, since I don’t have any Easter traditions after all? But city Easter perhaps? Føler bypassäske is a really underrated Easter tradition. The best time to be at home is at Easter when everyone else is in the mountains. You can be spontaneous, can take a drop-in at almost all restaurants, and just enjoy the quiet city life.

What is your best Easter memory?
– Hmmm… Oi, good question. Can’t think of anything specific right now, but maybe Easter last year? Then I learned to knit!

What is your worst Easter memory?
– Easter 2021. Why? We don’t need to go into that much, but can hint at an Easter holiday at Beitostølen that went straight to hell. So Wanda, a friend, and I ended up sneaking off in the middle of the night and heading home to get the hell away from the whole scheme. Never again!

What must you have in the Easter egg?
– Since I have a sweets stop every Easter now, maybe it will have to be nuts then? Or a protein bar.

City Easter or cottage Easter?
– I’ve always loved Easter in the city, but this year I’m going to sin and go to the mountains. But can you say both? After all, it is possible to divide Easter. The first half in the mountains and the last half in the city Easter? Then you also get rid of the Easter queue home from the mountain.

Ski trip or après ski?
– Ski touring on the slopes conquers everything! But if we are talking about cross-country skiing or après-ski, then it will be après-ski!

Quick lunch or marzipan?
– QUICK LUNCH (in capital letters).

Easter mystery or crossword?
– Neither part, can I throw in sudoku instead?

Do you have an Easter activity you recommend?
– Lower your shoulders, relax and take life easy. There is also an activity that is often forgotten when it is Easter, Christmas and other holidays: Relaxing.

Orange combined with chocolate, yay or nay?
– So, I love both orange and chocolate, but if you mean the orange chocolate then it’s a big no-no. But orange and chocolate individually are completely inside.
