The start of a new era
Phil Spencer just confirmed that Activision/Blizzard games will be on Game Pass from day one, meaning the new Call of Duty game will launch to members in October. But there are of course other things going on, and even though we were aware that Xbox games were on their way to Playstation 5 and Switch, we now have the dates.
Hi-Fi Rush comes to Playstation 5 on March 19, while Sea of Thieves launches for the same console on April 30. Then there was the Switch. Nintendo’s console gets Pentiment already today, and Grounded on 16 April. Both of the latter two games are also coming to Playstation 5. These two games also get cross-platform support on all three platforms.
At Xbox, we strive to create games that inspire, entertain and connect players from around the world. As a publisher and platform, we are committed to meeting players where they are, by bringing more games, to more people and on more devices. And at the heart of everything we do are our players and the vibrant communities they build around the games they love.
