It was full fire in the North London derby when Son Heung-min reduced from the chalk mark five minutes before full time.

Declan Rice should have cleared the ball but hit Ben Davies. VAR intervened, and Son hammered the ball safely into the goal.

But although Tottenham attempted a desperate last-ditch push for an equaliser, the visitors held on to take all three points.

– Arsenal are rock solid again, says Viaplay expert Eirik Bakke.

Thus, they top the Premier League with four points when Manchester City, at the time of writing, have played two games less.

It was an entertaining game in North London. Although the home team had most of the ball, it was the red shirts that ran away with all three points.

First it was the Danish Pierre Emile Højbjerg who was unlucky when he nodded a corner into his own net.

Then there was a small cannonade towards the Arsenal goal. Center back Cristian Romero came close on two occasions, but his headers went just wide and onto the post respectively.

Midway through the half, Spurs thought they had scored when Micky van de Ven put the ball in the goal, but the goal was disallowed by VAR as a result of a fine offside.

Minutes later, Spurs called for a penalty when both Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison went down, but both were waved up by Michael Oliver.

Then Arsenal were relentless. On the ensuing corner, Kai Havertz hit a brilliant backroom pass to Bukayo Saka. He feinted away Ben Davies and rolled the ball into the corner beautifully:

The pain got worse when Arsenal were once again awarded a corner.

Declan Rice hit an inward corner, where Kai Havertz was allowed to go up relatively undisturbed inside Tottenham’s five meters and nod in the 3-0 goal.

In the second half, Tottenham got a goal down when David Raya gave the hosts a gift package.

In an attempt to play out, he sent the ball straight into the chest of Cristian Romero, who took it down and finally got his goal.

Then Son reduced again. Tottenham chased an equaliser, but Arsenal escaped with a scare and took all three points.
