Kent-Are Antonsen got on the scoring list when Tromsø IL finally won in the Eliteserien.

(Eliteserien: Tromsø IL–Odd 4–0) The 29-year-old from Storsteinnes scored TIL’s third goal when, in the sixth attempt in this year’s Eliteserie, they finally struck with points. Against Odd, “Gutan” won 4–0 at Romssa Arena, after it was goalless at half-time.

First Ruben Yttergård Jenssen scored for TIL, before striker Vegard Erlien doubled the lead. Kent-Are Antonsen knocked in TIL’s third with his left leg, twenty minutes before the end, before young Runar Norheim scored 4–0, via the foot of Odd goalkeeper André Hansen. Shortly after that goal, Antonsen left the field for a well-deserved rest – in a triple substitution for the hosts. Antonsen’s score was his first of the season in the series.

Thus, TIL stopped the bad losing streak that they were with before Sunday’s game, where they had five straight losses in as many games so far this season.

– It was good to fight back like that, it was long-awaited, Kent-Are Antonsen said to Nordlys’ live broadcast after the match.

– This was a match where we had to show what we want to be, and I think we did it well, said the Balsfjorden player with satisfaction.

Despite the victory against Odd; TIL is still last in the table, but with their first three points they are only a point behind HamKam, with two games less played. Up to the qualification place, four points separate TIL after the first six games of the season. Now Bodø/Glimt is waiting for Aspmyra the evening before the national day.

– We are going down to trouble them, Antonsen said with a twinkle in his eye to Nordlys’ broadcast after the match.
