It is completely unpredictable and unacceptable

This is a debate post. It expresses the debater’s own attitude.

You must not have lived long at Fosen to ascertain that the regularity of the speedboat routes 800 (Trondheim – Kristiansund) and 805 (Brekstad – Trondheim) is at a historic low. In fact, so bad that you can’t plan to travel by speedboat if you have an appointment at St. Olav, have an education exam in Trondheim, are going to travel from Værnes or important meetings at the combat aircraft base in Ørland, for example.

One of the shipping company Norled’s slogan is “We move people along the coast». They have certainly made that clear to the population of Fosen. Unfortunately not in the sense of moving on or touching, which is positively conditioned, but in the sense of touching people’s feelings and attitude towards the speedboat in a negative sense.

Thanks for me, Coop

The municipality itself sits on the documentation

“The Russians come second”

let go there is bad weather that can explain the occasional setting. It is in the waterfall’s backbone and DNA to take certain precautions when the weather is bad. In contrast to the current situation, where sunset breezes, “operational reasons” or a newcomer in later times, “due to rest time regulations for the crew”. It is completely unpredictable. And unacceptable.

Does the shipping company have challenges when recruiting personnel, they get to evaluate their own pay and working conditions step by step in order to become attractive. This is what municipalities also have to do when they are short of employees. A quick count on my mobile phone shows that since the New Year I have received 186 messages from Norled on the routes that frequent Brekstad. Today is May 6, the 126th day of the year. It is therefore not without reason that Apple has several times suggested making Norled my “best friend”. I see no reason for that – yet.

Sophie Elise, the question you asked about intoxication is a trifle

Everyone wants children. Nobody wants youngsters

As a former mayor I have many times contributed to consultation input, participated in dialogue meetings and input conferences related to ferry and fast boat tenders. And the municipalities have been both constructive and solution-oriented. The disclaimer and “point game” by the county council, AtB and shipping companies that avoid putting us customers in focus is frustrating. In the meantime, we have to state powerlessly that the development is going in the wrong direction. It is as if the actors have misunderstood who is for whom.

Citizens, employers and local communities on Fosen do not survive because of the change from a “green” to a “grey” AtB app, that new fast boats run on electricity or that the safety information before departure changes dialect depending on which shipping company is operating the connection at any given time. For us, the most important thing is that the boat runs as expected. It is about prerequisites for social security, labour, value creation and the desire to live and stay.

As commuters I observe how the municipalities, businesses, the population and, not least, elected officials, relate to operational deviations on trains, buses and railways in the Oslo region. It contrasts with the commitment and strength I am able to observe in our own region. Because let there be no doubt. The responsibility is political. The Fosen region has a job to do straight away.
