THE STORTING (Nettavisen): A group of protesters has gathered outside the entrances to the Storting on Wednesday morning, reports Nettavisen’s journalist at the scene.

– Operations leader from the police says the activists will be ordered to leave the area, those who do not comply will be removed by the police.

The task leader has just turned up at Løvebakken with a clear message to the protesters:

“This is a task leader in the Oslo police district. This is an illegal marking on Løvebakken. You are not allowed to be here. You can go down to Eidsvolls plass as an alternative place. You have five minutes to leave Løvebakken. When five minutes have passed, we will start taking you into the detention center.”

Just before 10:00, the police confirm to Nettavisen that more people have been brought in.

– There were approximately 70 protesters in total. 12 were brought in and reported for not complying with police orders. There are still approximately 25 protesters standing in Akersgata, they are allowed to stand there, says task leader Arve Røtterud to Nettavisen.

The incident leader also gave a clear message that this applies to those who had to stay at the other entrance as well.

Now the protesters are also physically carried away from the square:

Nettavisen’s journalist at the scene says that most people went down to Eidsvolls plass, and that several protesters were surprised to be taken away, because they thought they could stay on the stairs as long as they did not block the entrance itself.
