There seems to be a price war on fuel in several places in the country. In Eastern Norway and the Oslo area, for example, there are a number of petrol stations that have the price of diesel and petrol below NOK 20 per litre.

Among other things, Liertoppen is an area that will notice the abnormally low prices. According to the Drivstoffappen, the diesel price for the Uno X at Liertoppen is NOK 16.79 per litre. It is the aforementioned Liertoppen that, at the time of writing, has the lowest price for diesel.

At Circle K in Kiellands Plass, central Oslo, the diesel price is NOK 18.19 per litre.

Both in Trondheim and in Southern Norway, there is also a lot of fuel for the money.

– They break a little with their usual pattern, so it will be exciting to see if the prices skyrocket again on Wednesday, says Syver Orhagen, who is one of the people behind the Fuel App.

Orhagen believes the prices are due to competitive market dynamics and lower crude oil prices.

Elsewhere in the country, prices are at a more “normal” level, where it usually costs between NOK 22 and 23 per liter of diesel.
