Last week, the southern parts of the country experienced southern temperatures well above 20 degrees. This week the temperatures have dropped somewhat – but it is still around 15 degrees in several places.
At the same time that southerners have been able to take out sunglasses and apply sun cream, those further north have not been as spoiled – with sleet and snow in Finnmark and at high altitude in Troms.

And on Tuesday morning, the Meteorologists at X write that winter is not over in the far north yet.
– All our stations in Finnmark, apart from Hasvik, had temperatures below zero today, they write.
In the east, the sun will shine, but on Tuesday there will be snow showers on and off, they say.
It could reach 20 degrees this week
Yr states on its website that the forest fire danger is at yellow level until Friday 10 May in the capital. In the next few days, temperatures will be around 15 to 17 degrees – next Sunday, however, they may rise to 20 degrees.
It will also be a few degrees warmer in the summer towns of Tønsberg and Kristiansand throughout the week, according to the overview for Yr.
In the west of Stavanger, the protractor is heading in the opposite direction. There, the sun will peek out less often, and it will be a few degrees colder. However, the long-term forecast shows that temperatures may barely exceed 15 degrees towards the end of the week. This is also the preliminary weekly trend in Ålesund. Here, however, there may be some more rain showers.
Trondheim will have to brace for some rain on both Wednesday and Thursday – with just over 10 degrees. Here, however, it looks like it will be sunny and warm in the first half of next week.
Cold in the north
If we look further north towards Tromsø, the temperatures will stay below 10 degrees this week, before we can get over double digits from next week.
In Hammerfest, this week will be of the cold kind, at least compared to the rest of the country. According to Yr, you will not see five plus degrees on the scale before the start of next week.
