Agreement on the energy stations – HK Norway

HK in Norway and Virke agree on higher wages for our groups. We are also particularly pleased that we are getting an increase in the supplement for night work.

HK and Virke agree that the salary increases by:

In addition, the night supplement has been increased by NOK 8 for night work.

These wage increases apply from 1 April 2024. This means a solid wage increase.

Risk assessment when working alone and working at night.
HK Norway is particularly pleased that Virke was attentive to our concerns about robbery and threats of violence. Surveys from HK Norway show that far too many employees in this industry have experienced unpleasant things at work.

HK Norway and Virke will jointly seek to develop a “toolbox” that can help the local parties to carry out good risk assessments. The toolbox can e.g. contain checklists and examples of remedial measures.

Now we will organize the stations in Norway.
HK Norway and Virke have also agreed that there is a need to reorganize this industry. Virke is involved in encouraging the companies and the stations to arrange arenas where the shop steward can meet the employees to inform about local party cooperation, rights and obligations for organised, the main agreement, the energy station agreement as well as any local special agreements. This can e.g. carried out in connection with the company’s general meetings or staff meetings.

By agreement with the employer, shop stewards can organize and train members locally at the individual company.

Early voting
Now it is the members’ turn to vote yes or no on the outcome of the collective agreement. Members to whom these negotiations apply will be sent information and what they need to vote. The deadline for the early voting is set for 30 May 2024.

Local wage negotiations
The central tariff negotiations on the Energy Agreement have been concluded. There may be more to pick up locally. Now it is about how the values ​​that the employees have helped to create at the individual company should be distributed. Therefore, the shop stewards must now start their part of the job and demand local negotiations.
