Sigmund Kveli, Arnt Egil Rånes and Harald Morten Bremseth are all skiing enthusiasts and enjoy good entertainment provided by top athletes.
With their feet firmly planted in Trønder’s popular music and revue tradition, they invite you to the show “Trøndelag, you big time!”.
The best parties
– There are, after all, the World Cup in Trondheim next year, but no one has taken the initiative for any prelude. So we have done that on our own initiative, says Rånes.
– We are very good at foreplay, so we have expertise there that we can share with the rest of the country, adds Kveli.
– And everyone knows that the best thing about parties is often the foreplay. Yes, there are actually quite a few people from Trondheim who never come back to the pre-game, he continues.
The show will run for three weekends in Olavshallen ahead of the World Ski Championships, and aims to warm up the public from all over Norway before the big sporting event.
– How do you intend to do this?
– We intend to do what we have done for many years: make good Kveli, Rånes and Bremseth humour, says Rånes.
– We have eventually found a distinctive character, which many people appreciate. We will use well-known humour, but with a slightly different angle.
Typical Trønder
Kveli, Rånes and Bremseth have become all of Trøndelag’s comedy musical favorites after traveling to every corner of the county for over 12 years.
They also produced the official anniversary show when Rosenborg Ballklub turned 100 years old in 2017. The show attracted over 5,000 spectators from all over the country.
– Gro Harlem Brundtland said “It is typically Norwegian to be good”, says Kveli.
– We argue that it is typically Trøndish to be the best.
2025 will be the big Trønder year with the farewell concerts with Åge and Sambandet at Lerkendal in September, the ski World Cup in Granåsen in February/March and the very first World Cup pre-game in Olavshallen in February.
