(Fornebu, 7 May 2024) Torfinn Eriksen takes up the position of head of the business market division in Telenor Norway.
– Public enterprises and companies are at a crossroads in digitization where we cannot compromise on quality. Telenor must be the one that offers the security, coverage and quality needed to lead public and private businesses safely on their digitization journey. I can hardly think of anything more rewarding than being able to help develop this further among all the talented employees in Business Market, says Torfinn Eriksen.
Torfinn Eriksen has held a number of different management positions in Telenor, and comes from the position of head of Sales and hardware in the Private Market.
– Through major turnaround operations, Torfinn has succeeded in creating profitable growth. He is a results-oriented change manager with a good understanding of value creation and customer value, has analytical flair and is a good storyteller. I am sure that he is right to develop the business market going forward, says CEO of Telenor Norway, Birgitte Engebretsen.
Eriksen takes over the position after Åsa Lunde.
– I would like to thank Åsa for a great effort for Telenor for a total of 16 years, and most recently as division director. She has carried out a reorganization and introduced new working methods in the division and put in place a team-based working methodology, which we can now build on in the work to develop the division. She has made a significant effort and has been a valuable contribution to Norway’s leadership. Åsa and I have agreed that the time has come for a change in the division and have had a good dialogue about this, says Birgitte Engebretsen.
