When Tom Cruise (61) was last in Norway to record a film, in 2020, he was furious with the film crew who did not follow the corona rules.
Now it is being speculated whether the Hollywood star is back in Norway again, to record another film in the “Mission: Impossible” series.
It happens after Cruise’s private plane landed at Vigra airport in Giske municipality, outside Ålesund, on Saturday. VG has published several photos showing the red, white and gray jet parked at the airport.
On Monday morning, a similar plane should have been observed at Årø Airport in Molde, according to Åndalsnes Avis. The 61-year-old landed here during the filming of “Mission: Impossible 7” just over four years ago.
Avisa writes that there is a film recording in progress, but that the star is nowhere to be seen.
They have published several photos that show that a film shoot of some kind is taking place. Avisa has also obtained access which confirms that the company FTE Locations has been granted permission to film along several stretches of road – including the iconic Atlanterhavsvegen.
Marius Vesten in FTE locations tells Åndalsnes Avis that the recording has nothing to do with Tom Cruise.
– It is not Tom Cruise who is up the valley, he says.
“Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two” premieres in 2025. Last week Cruise was in London to record protest scenes, writes industry newspaper Screen Rant.
Last year, the actor was in Svalbard to record scenes for the same film.
