A person is described as critically injured after being hit by a car and then punched and kicked on Torshov in Oslo. The perpetrators ran away from the scene.

The Oslo police sent more patrols in Fagerheimgata/Vossegata in Torshov after a violent incident at 11.30pm on Thursday.
– A person must have been hit by a car and then probably beaten and kicked several times. There are many indications that the collision was a deliberate act, stated the Oslo police district.
According to the police, the person hit is seriously, probably critically injured. The person was first treated by an ambulance at the scene, before being taken to hospital.
– We are looking for a car that drove away from the scene, Oslo police district wrote on X at 23.43.
Just before midnight, the police called for a black BMW. This car is said to have fled the scene after the incident.
At 00:09 the police reported that the car had probably been found.
Looking for perpetrators
– We believe that that car has been involved in an incident of violence and a possible hit-and-run, said task leader Torgeir Brenden to Aftenposten at 00:45.
The police then interviewed witnesses, carried out technical investigations and searched for a perpetrator or perpetrators. The police dog patrol was used in the search.
– We have witness information and leads to follow. But for now we do not have any concrete suspects or perpetrators that we have control over, said Brenden, who could also say:
– We are now working to obtain a description of the person in question. We are working on the basis of some witness information.
Brenden stated that the extent of the damage to the man who was hit was unclear.
