In February, two men in their 20s were charged and imprisoned for smuggling significant quantities of drugs on the Danish boat.
Police prosecutor Øyvind Røyneberg then told BA that he was not aware of a major seizure of drugs in the West police district so far this year, although he could not comment on the large quantities involved.
The amounts on the seizure are now known.

46 kilos of hashish
– This seizure is the largest drug seizure so far this year on a national basis, says Martin Bjørnstad, section chief at the Customs Department in Bergen, who was responsible for the seizure.
Bjørnstad previously did not want to explain why they chose that car, but he says that they have had to adapt.
– The criminal circles are becoming increasingly creative, and then we have to be creative too.
Police attorney Jørgen Henriksen confirms to BA that around 46 kilos of hashish, 20 kilos of amphetamine and just under 6 kilos of ecstasy have been seized.
– It must be specified that the seizure has not been fully examined by Kripos, so a reservation must be made regarding the final laboratory examination, Henriksen explains.
Imprisoned
The two men were charged with serious drug offenses and are both Norwegian citizens. They were produced for remand, and decided to be imprisoned for four weeks due to the risk of tampering with evidence.
Henriksen confirms that both are still in custody.
