A man in his 20s has been charged with the murder and has pleaded guilty. The murder took place in his apartment, where Trine Wagerlid (34) was visiting.
– The preliminary autopsy report shows that the murder weapon is a knife. Findings at the scene and the preliminary autopsy report make us certain of that, says police attorney Anne Cathrine Aga to Avisa Oslo.

The police have previously said that they have seized a weapon in the apartment.
Wagelid and the man accused of murder have been friends for years.
The police will not comment on what was said in questioning with the accused and the motive is currently unclear.
His defender, Bjørn Rudjord, has described the incident as an “affective act”.
On Tuesday, the man was detained for four weeks. VG spoke to Wagelid’s brother on Tuesday evening:
– It was a big shock to learn that my dear sister is no longer here, that she was killed in Oslo, said Tom Wagelid (40).
