On Saturday, the store manager in Musti Søgne invites Mariette Andersen to a dog sled in Søgne.

– We decorate with flags and gather dogs from all over the city to go on a dog train with a joint departure from Toftelandsveien 2, at 11.00. After the train, sausages are served to the dogs, and then of course there will be a raffle in true May spirit. The ambition is to create Norway’s largest dog train. Across the country, around 70 trains will march at the same time this Saturday, she tells N247 on Tuesday.

She further says that the dog train has clear associations with the 17 May train.

– However, on 17 May we recommend leaving the dog at home. Loud noises and large crowds can be very frightening for the four-legged. Our train, on the other hand, is very dog-friendly, and is a perfect opportunity to work on dog socialization and to get to know other two- and four-legged friends, she continues.

She concludes by saying that the route will go on the walking and walking path in the direction of Høllen. Whether it will go all the way down to the sea has not yet been decided.
