The developer bought the plot in 2022, construction will start soon.
Peab Eiendomsutvikling has decided to start construction work on Engene Hage by Kirkegårdsparken in the center of Drammen. The project will have 30 apartments over four floors and three townhouses spread over two buildings, according to a press release.
– We believe this will be an enrichment for the local environment and be attractive to a broad group of buyers. In a challenging market, it is also important for us to take social responsibility and contribute to increased housing construction, says Jannicke Mansika-Aanstad, head of Peab Eiendomsutvikling.
It is now one year since the homes were put up for sale, and so far 16 contracts have been signed. The apartments will be two to four rooms with between 36 and 80 square metres, and these will have a shared roof terrace. Those that remain of these are priced from NOK 4.4 to just over 8 million.
It was Pilares Eiendom that sold the property in its time, and was also responsible for the regulation of Engene 51, 53 and 57.
The terraced houses of 130 square meters have their own entrance, patio and private roof terrace. They are priced from NOK 12.5 to just over NOK 14 million, none of which have been sold
